CDHJC is offering a braiding clinic with professional braider Anita Jaffe, hosted at Cochise Hill Farm, 974 Grooms Rd, Rexford. Join us on Saturday, May 5, from 3-5pm for a demonstration and hands-on practice. Braiding tools and materials, equine models, and light refreshments will be provided. This event is FREE to CDHJC members! The non-member admission fee $5. Not a CDHJC member? You can join at the event for just $25 for the year. We have added a year end award for Handy Hunter. Horses (registered with the CDHJC) ridden by Junior, Amateur, and Professional members of the CDHJC will be eligible for this year end award and classes will be approved/designated as prize lists for local horse shows are available. Please see the below attachment for more information.
The Capital District Hunter Jumper Council is a not-for-profit organization formed to promote education, sportsmanship, and professionalism at horse shows and in the local horse community. The membership is comprised of hundreds of horse owners, trainers, and riders who compete locally and travel to other elite competitions throughout the country.
